I am incapable of remembering what leftovers are in the fridge. Today we had pizza leftover from our tree trimming party, I had no clue. I keep saying we need a dry erase board on the fridge so I can remember what to eat.

Dave, can you set up a webcam to view what is in the fridge?
Can't you open the door and see what's inside? And, if you don't find anything appetizing, you can stand there with the door open for 3 minutes stairing at it. Then slowly close the door, walk to the other room, and on your next break to the exact same thing. OR can't you just have your wife bring you food when you want it? I mean, after all, that's what wives do, right? She probably made it and put it away the day before, anyway, so she knew exactly what was left (unless, of course, you had one of your active sleep episodes and you ate it in your sleep). I offended your wife and the environment in the same comment. SORRY! It was all in jest, promise. oh yea, if you set up a webcam to view what's in the fridge you need to rig up light (the light that comes on really does go off when you close the door) AND it will then give off additional heat, causing your fridge to work harder.
